Roanoke Co, VA - A Roanoke County man who made illegal whiskey won't have to spend any time behind bars. Tuesday, the judge gave James Ricky Lyle, 62, a two year suspended sentence.
Lyle has been found guilty of manufacturing alcohol without a license.
In February, special agents seized two stills. They discovered more than 200 gallons of illegal whiskey, and several antique firearms from Lyle's home.
His attorney says Lyle only made whiskey as a hobby and was interested in the history of moonshine.
