Henry Co. Officials Investigating Fatal Hit & Run on Route 673

Henry Co., VA - Officials are investigating a fatal hit and run that happened Tuesday night in Henry County.

Officials say a Jason Lionel Slaughter, 59, was pushing a bike while walking southbound on Route 673 around 9:30 p.m. when he was hit from behind by a car. The driver left the scene.

Slaughter, of Bassett, was pronounced dead at the scene.
