Tulsa Police were called out to a shooting at the 3400 block of 66th Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9.

The standoff has ended after the suspect was not found at the residence.

According to police, Jordan Watt, 29, shot at his father after the two argued. The suspect shot two rounds into the wall and the victim fled the house.

Officers were able to communicate with the suspect, who agreed to cooperate. Once police approached the residence, officers saw brake lights and the open garage closed.

The suspect's wife and 3-month-old son were inside the house, initially.

TPD's Special Operations Team attempted to make contact with the suspect.

According to the report, at 6:45 a.m., the suspects wife and son left the house unharmed. Contact has still not been made with the suspect as of 8:13 a.m.

The Midtown neighborhood was on lock down during the standoff.

"That's why we took our time," said Officer Leland Ashley with Tulsa Police. "A lot of times, people are frustrated, wondering why we take the amount of time we do. Mainly for the safety of officers and the safety of the citizens. So, we have to be concerned about everyone in this type of case."

Officer Ashley said Watt is a white male. He is 5'7 and weighs about 140 pounds.
