Blacksburg - With their bowl game against Rutgers two weeks from Friday, Tech's advance ticket sales for the game are lagging. Athletic Director Jim Weaver said on Tech's radio show Tuesday night the Hokies have sold about three thousand of their allotted 13 thousand tickets so they've got a ways to go.
Tech football and Old Dominion have announced a three-game series beginning in 2016 in Blacksburg. The Hokies will travel to Norfolk in 2018 with the series returning to Blacksburg in 2019. Weaver also said plans are in the works for a new scoreboard at both Lane Stadium and Cassell Coliseum next year.
