Bank of America's customer satisfaction level fell to its lowest point in more than ten years. The American customer satisfaction index gave the bank a score of 66, compared to 70 for Citigroup, 71 for Wells Fargo and 74 for JP Morgan Chase. All other banks averaged about 79 percent, while credit unions scored 82.
Bank of America, and many of the large banks had their reputations tarnished during the foreclosure and financial crises - but Bank of America took additional hits when it sparked national headlines last year with controversial bank fees.
