Victims and survivors of violent crimes gathered Wednesday night to honor loved ones they've lost.
They were invited to place special ornaments on a Christmas tree at the Lafortune Community center at 52nd and Hudson.
The event is hosted by the Tulsa County District Attorney's office.
It's designed to provide support for those left behind.

"It's emotional," says Jennifer Harmon. "I'm surprised that I would feel this much emotion, yet I think it's a good thing. It seems like a supportive environment."
The killer in Gaytan's case remains on the loose.
