TPD Continue Investigation into Couple's Fight That Left Man Dead

Tulsa Police are continuing their investigation into a shooting that left a north Tulsa man dead earlier this month.
It happened just after 10 p.m. Dec. 1 when officers were called to a "domestic altercation" that led to a shooting between a couple at a residence. The incident occurred in the 200 block of E. Newton Place.
Tulsa Police Corporal John Williams told KTUL.com, that an altercation of some sort broke out between the two, leading to the shooting. The man was later identified as Robert Braggs, 47.
According to TPD, Braggs was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. He died on Dec. 10 from the gunshot wound he received.
Neighbors told KTUL.com, that this was not the first incident they've witnessed between the couple.
The case has now been transferred to the Homicide Unit and will be submitting the circumstances to the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office for their determination on whether the female will be charged with any type of crime.
The female's name will not be released pending the approval of criminal charges.
