UPDATE: Police ID Victim of Roanoke Shooting

Roanoke, VA – Roanoke Police announced Monday that Charles Antwaun Buckner, age 34 of Roanoke was the person shot on December 14.

The shooting took place in the 1500 block of Dunbar Avenue.

Police still need your help in identifying the suspects that may have been involved.

Roanoke, VA – Officials are looking for two men they say were involved in a shooting incident in Roanoke Friday afternoon.

The Roanoke Police Department responded to a home in the 1500 block of Dunbar Avenue around 3 p.m. They say they found the man who lives there with a gunshot wound on his leg. He was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Police say the resident said he heard two men outside of the home. He opened the door to see where the noises were coming from and saw two men—one was wearing a mask. The resident closed the door and heard shots fired.
