Buzz Dec. 21-23: Disney on Ice, Dickens of a Christmas & Toy Run
This weekend, you have the chance to meet all of your favorite Disney characters! Come out to Roanoke for Disney's On Ice: Treasure Trove!
You can watch all of the Disney princesses and characters like Cinderella, Mickey Mouse and Peter Pan sing and dance on ice. The shows are at the Roanoke Civic Center: Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 22-23 at 1 p.m. or 5 p.m. You can buy tickets here.
This is the last weekend you can check out Dickens of a Christmas. Come out Friday to downtown Roanoke for a night of Christmas cheer. You can get a carriage ride and take pictures with Santa. There will also be carolers, a magicians and great performers. That's 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. And there will be a pet costume contest at 6:30 p.m.
in South Boston—you can go for a run all to help bring toys to kids in need. The South Boston Running Club is hosting the Sleigh Bells and Sneakers Toy Run Saturday, Dec. 21. All the toys collected will be given to a local charity. That starts at 7:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church or N. Main Street. You just need to bring one unwrapped toy.
