Danville, VA - Sunday night in Danville there will be a benefit held for a little girl who doctors say doesn't have very long to live.
It's called the "Miracle for Maddie" benefit and it will take place right outside the Danville Sweet Frog at 7 p.m.
Maddie Davis was diagnosed with Krabbe disease in May. She is only one year old.
Maddie's aunt and a local pastor will be speaking at her benefit.
The crowd will also try to spread some holiday cheer by singing Christmas carols.
"The family really needs the community support at this time. It's tough anytime of the year to go through something like this," said Tyler Lee, Owner of Danville Sweet Frog.
The Target in Danville will be providing hot chocolate to keep benefit attendees warm.
There will also be a special announcement from Sweet Frog after the event.
