Orlando - Rutgers is trying to do something it's done just twice in school history.
Win 10 games in a season. The Scarlet Knights come into Friday's Russell Athletic Bowl against Virginia Tech with a 9-and-3 record, but they've lost their last two games. Head Coach Kyle Flood says the Scarlet Knights have to look at Friday's bowl game as a new season.
Kyle Flood, RUTGERS HEAD COACH, said "If we're able to be 1-and-0 this week, we'll be able to then evaluate the entire season, not just the regular season. And with 1-and-0 this week, we'll have done something that hasn't been done very often. It's only been done twice before and I think that would make a statement and the statement would be that this is a special football team."
