Man Killed in Accident on Route 122, Police Investigating

Bedford, VA – A man was killed in an accident Friday evening on Route 122 in Bedford.

Officials with Virginia State Police say Mark Lowell Webster, 53, was killed in the single-vehicle accident.

They say he was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am northbound on Route 122, also known as Big Island Highway, around 4:45 p.m.

Police say he ran off the right side of the road and overturned down the embankment.

Officials are still investigating the accident.
