Danville, VA -- Four people are about to become a million dollars richer. Tuesday is the New Year's Millionaire Raffle.
Every year more than 400,000 tickets are sold in Virginia and four people will win a million dollars out of that group.
So how are the sales as not as good as last year, according to employees at the Quick n Plenty in Danville. They estimate their sales are down 10%.
Still, it's a new year's tradition for some.
"Just want to hit it big...well I didn't win it last year so now I'm going to try it again." said Jeff Ware, lotto player.
The winning numbers will be announced Tuesday at 2 p.m.
