Stanley Glanz was sworn in Wednesday morning for his seventh consecutive term as sheriff of Tulsa County.
Sheriff Glanz received his swearing in by Judge Jim Caputo at 8:15 a.m. at the Tulsa County Courthouse.
According to the release, Glanz is the longest elected sheriff in Tulsa County beginning his 25th year of service. He was first elected back in the fall of 1988.
In addition to Sheriff Glanz, three other Tulsa County officials were sworn in Wednesday morning. Each of the officials will begin a four-year term of office.
