New Moped Laws in Roanoke County - WSET.com - ABC13

Roanoke Co, VA - There's a new law for moped drivers if you plan on hitting the streets in Roanoke County.

Now, you have to wear a face shield, safety glasses or goggles, or the moped has to have a windshield.

The new law also requires that every person on the moped must be wearing a helmet.

Roanoke County police say they have seen an increase in the number of people who drive them.

The fine for breaking the new law is $50.
