Officials Find Thousands of Dollars Worth of Marijuana Plants in Moneta

Franklin Co., VA - Charges are pending in Franklin County after investigators say they found thousands of dollars worth of marijuana plants.

Last Friday, authorities raided a suspected growing operation in the county, on Parford Lane.

The Sheriff's Office says they seized 117 plants worth $300,000 from several small outbuildings.

They also took equipment used for the growing operation from the scene.

Officials say this was the second marijuana growing operation raided last week.
