Pittsylvania Co., VA - The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution supporting both Danville Regional Medical Center and Centra getting a CT scanner.
Both asked the state department of health for a certificate of public need to get the machines for their facilities in the county.
But DRMC sent a letter to the review board, asking them not to grant Centra's request because of inaccuracies in the report.
Supervisors voted 4 to 3 to send a resolution asking the state department to approve both.
