Lynchburg - Sophomore Shannon Allan poured in a game-high 20 points to lead Lynchburg to a 60-41 win over Randolph in ODAC women's basketball Wednesday night at Lynchburg College.
Chaney Forbush, Lauren Penley and Sammi Goldsmith all added 9 points each for the Hornets, who improve to 12-and-7 on the season, 7-and-4 in the ODAC.
Lynchburg ran up a 27-7 lead before Randolph scored the final seven points before the break to cut the margin to 27-14 at halftime. The WildCats would later pull within 9 midway of the second half, but that's as close as they got. Chelsea Tyler led Randolph with 10, former Brookville Bee Emilee Dunton added 9.
The WildCats drop to 3-and-16 overall, 1-and-10 in the ODAC.
