Lynchburg Police Arrest Woman Wanted on Credit Card Forgery Charges

Lynchburg, VA - A woman wanted on ten counts of credit card forgery was arrested Saturday, after trying to cash a check at a local bank, Lynchburg Police said.

Sara Renee Carlin was shown during ABC 13's "Manhunt" segment on January 17.

According to Lt. Dan Black, police received a phone call from a Carter Bank and Trust branch in Lynchburg around 11:55 a.m. about a woman who was trying to cash a check.

Lt. Black said Carlin was arrested without incident a short time later after police stopped her in her vehicle.
