
Blacksburg - The nation's leading scorer Erick Green racked up 29 points, but the Hokies fell short at home against Maryland, losing to the Terps 60-55.
After trailing by 11 midway of the first half, the Hokies charged back to grab a three-point lead at the half 27-24. But Maryland would pull out the road victory, Jake Layman scored 14 points to lead the way, Alex Len added 10 as the Terps improve to 17-and-6 overall, 5-and-5 in the ACC.
