Richmond, VA - The Virginia General Assembly has passed a resolution celebrating the life of a Franklin County businessman who was killed in a December car accident.
Larry Heaton was killed December 9 in Patrick County, after his truck left the road and hit a tree.
Heaton was instrumental in starting Franklin Community Bank and served as its President and CEO from 2002 until his death.
Heaton also served on a variety of boards including with the Franklin County YMCA and the Franklin County Economic Development and Advisory Committee.
