Governor McDonnell to Speak at VMI's Commencement in May - WSET.com - ABC13

Lexington, VA - Governor Bob McDonnell will be the commencement speaker at VMI's graduation this year.

The Governor attended the University of Notre Dame on an Army ROTC scholarship and served 21 years in the U.S. Army and in Reserves.

VMI's class president says he feels McDonnell will leave the graduates with words worth remembering, saying it's an honor to have him.

VMI's ceremony is set for May 16.
