You can support your local actors this weekend at the Academy Theater in downtown Lynchburg. The Black Theatre Ensemble presents, "Climbing the Mountain Top When There is Nowhere Left to Walk." The play travels through time to tell the story of four generations. It starts with a man working as a slave and it goes through the Civil War era, ending with the present. ABC 13's Chief Videographer Jemon Haskins is stars in it. That's Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10. If you're interested, call the Academy of Arts at 434-846-8499.

A great piano trio will perform in Lynchburg College Friday night. The Claremont Trio is made up of three women who play the violin, cello and the piano. The group has won several international awards. They'll perform at the Sydnor Performance Hall at 7:30 p.m.

And a big bridal expo is back this weekend! The Holiday Inn downtown will be packed with wedding professionals. You can get information on photographers, caterers, florists and of course—wedding dresses! That's Sunday noon to 4 p.m., and entry is $5. Get more information here.
