Lynchburg, VA - It's time to say goodbye for Miss Lynchburg as she prepares to crown a new Miss Lynchburg. We caught up with Amanda Miller Friday.
The annual pageant is Saturday night.Two titles will be awarded.
Miss Lynchburg and Miss Hill City so two lucky young women will represent the area at the Miss Virginia pageant this summer.
"There's definitely some strong competition and I think that's what makes it an excellent pageant to be at because you're going to see great talents; from singers to dancers, to kind of everything in between. But you also have some very intelligent women competing and I think that's very important to have. This isn't just the Toddlers and Tiaras pageant that you're going to see on TV. These are strong intelligent women who are preparing for the job of Miss Virginia,"said Miss Lynchburg 2012 Amanda Miller.
The pageant is Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. at Dunbar Middle School. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under.
