Lynchburg - Lynchburg boxer Scott Sigmon is returning to the ring April 6th in Central Virginia.
Sigmon will fight in the main event on the Saturday night card at the Boonsboro Ruritan Club. It will be the 25-year-old's first bout since losing to former middleweight champ Kelly Pavlik last June.
Five weeks after that fight, Sigmon underwent shoulder surgery to repair tears to his labrum, rotator cuff and biceps tendon. Then came more than four months of physical therapy which Sigmon says was tough.
He admits he may be coming back too soon, but he's been training hard and is eager to give it a shot.
