Pulaski, VA – A Pulaski police officer is recovering after injuries he got while responding to a call Wednesday.
The Pulaski Police Department says the officer responded to Memorial Drive in the town of Pulaski to help someone who had locked themselves out of their truck. Because the height of the truck, the officer had to get into the bed of the back of the truck, and while he was climbing down, he fell and injured himself.
He was taken to Lewis Gale Hospital where he was treated and released. He will be off duty for a while.
