TULSA, Okla. -
Cliff Pace won the Bassmasters Classic on Sunday, finishing with a three-day catch of 54 pounds, 12 ounces at Grand Lake O' the Cherokees.
Pace, from Petal, Miss., earned $500,000.
Brandon Palaniuk of Rathdrum, Idaho, was second at 51-8, followed by Hank Cherry, Maiden, N.C., at 49-0.
As for the three Oklahoma anglers, Jason Christie was the highest finisher at seventh place. Christie had a three-day catch of 43 pounds, 5 ounces.
Tommy Biffle (29-2) and Edwin Evers (28-8) finished 24th and 25th respectively.
