Fire crews are still investigating the scene of a north Tulsa home Tuesday afternoon that left two females in an area hospital.
Tulsa Fire responded to the scene just after 3 a.m. where they found the home on 647 E. 27th Pl. North fully involved in flames.
Emergency responders told KTUL.com that two adult females were located inside and rescued during. Both were transported to an area hospital where they remain under supervision.
TFD's Stan May told Channel 8 that the cause of the fire is still unknown but it is believed to have started in the kitchen where both women had been cooking a large amount of food prior to the blaze.
He said the house is a total loss estimating $40,000 in damages to the house and $10,000 for the contents inside.
