Lynchburg, VA - There's a birthday party Saturday, March 2 at Amazement Square in honor of Dr. Seuss as part of Read Across America Day.
It will be filled with books, hands-on crafts, activities and even an appearance by the Cat in the Hat.
The Junior League of Lynchburg is sponsoring the event and they are also having a book drive. If you donate a book you get $1 off admission.
All donations are going to the Reach Out and Read program in Lynchburg.
It all kicks off tomorrow at 11:45 a.m. and lasts until 5 p.m.
