Danville Sheriff's Deputies Promoted, Honored for Service - WSET.com - ABC13

Danville, VA - The Danville Sheriff's Office celebrated some promotions Friday.

Deputy Ril Mattison is now a Corporal and Corporal Dan Warren is now a Sergeant.

Family and friends joined them as Sheriff Mike Mondul announced the promotions.

Deputy Sharon Wilson was also honored.

Wilson was given a National Medal of Merit from the Sheriff's Association of America.

Last year, she was named Sheriff's Deputy of the Year in Virginia after her part in taking down a credit card fraud ring.
