Madison Heights, VA - A shooter is on the loose after opening fire at a restaurant and nightclub overnight.
The Amherst County Sheriff's Office says around 1:30 a.m., a man shot into the Pizza Wings and Things Restaurant from the parking lot, and struck a male security guard in both legs.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Investigators say several people were inside the restaurant at the time.
They also say there had been several fights at the popular DJ night.
A similar shooting happened in the parking lot of the T.G.I. Friday's in Lynchburg early Sunday morning.
No arrests have been made in either incident.
