Lynchburg - Randolph College senior guard Colton Hunt is the winner of this year's Jostens Trophy as Division 3 National Player of the Year.
Hunt will receive his award at the Salem Rotary Club luncheon Thursday at the Salem Civic Center. The Jostens Trophy is based on basketball ability, academic prowess and community service. Hunt averaged more than 24 points and 7 rebounds a game, his scoring output third in the country. Hunt was also named the Capital One Academic All-American of the Year for Division 3, he's an economics major with minors in physics and finance.
