Police Investigating Robberies in Two Roanoke Businesses

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke Police say two businesses were robbed in less than six hours.

The first happened at 8:40 p.m. Monday at Replay Games on Peters Creek Road The second happened at 2:40 a.m. at the Stop In Food Store on Edgewood Street.

In both cases, police say employees described the suspect as a black woman who demanded money from the cash register said she had a weapon.

The suspect in both cases was also wearing a dark jacket, jeans and a baseball hat.

Officials are investigating whether the two incidents are related. Crime Line may offer a monetary reward for any information leading to an arrest in a crime.
