Martinsville - The Sprint Cup circuit comes to Martinsville in just over two weeks, the STP Gas Booster 500 set for April 7th.
Three-time Martinsville champ Tony Stewart paid a visit to Martinsville Wednesday. Stewart last won at the half-mile track in the 2011 fall race, a win this spring could be a big boost for what's been a tough start this season. Stewart didn't care much for Martinsville early in his career, now he's grown to love the short track.
Tony Stewart, 3-TIME MARTINSVILLE CHAMPION, said "This is not gonna be a track that I ever see leaving the schedule. It's got too much history, it's got too much personality and that's what you see a lack of in some of these two-and-a-half mile or two mile or mile-and-a-half tracks."
