Roanoke, VA - Two men have pleaded guilty to a number of charges in connection with a church break-in and fire in Roanoke.
34-year-old Steven Kershner pleaded in Roanoke Circuit Court yesterday to arson of an occupied building, statutory burglary and grand larceny. 21-year-old Nathaniel Lutz pleaded guilty to statutory burglary and grand larceny last month.
Lutz will be sentenced on those charges on May 17th. He pleaded no contest to attempted arson of an occupied building, and was sentenced to two months on that charge.
The two men were arrested last year after officers found some items that had been set on fire inside Westminster Presbyterian Church.
