Danville, VA -- A Danville running group will pay tribute to the victims and heroes of the Boston Marathon attacks as well. Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., they will do a mile long silent honor run called "Run for Boston."
Organizer Adam Jones says it is important for all runners to stick together and support each other. They have a running group that gets together every week. Jones says anyone is welcome Wednesday night and you can feel free to walk or run.
"For such a prestigious race to be kind of compromised by a terrorist attack, it's just something that I wanted to do just as respect," said Jones.
If you want to join them, they will meet at The Brick on Main Street in Danville at 6:30 p.m.
