A 55-year-old man is in jail after an odd disturbance in north Tulsa.
Police got the call around 2:30 Monday after a woman at a home on north Kingston Place said a man inside shooting a gun. That man was later identified as Herman Webster and the woman was his daughter.
Tulsa Police described in their arrest report that Webster came home intoxicated and angry at his daughter for "being lazy and began throwing stuff around." He proceeded to grab a handgun and threaten to kill her
Webster and the victim struggled over the gun until she and two other children at the residence were able to escape through a window. Police said an infant was treated for scratches but otherwise just fine.
She met police outside and told them Webster was still in the house with their grandmother.
Police finally coaxed him out and arrested him. The elderly woman wasn't hurt.
Investigators found evidence that the man was shooting in the home, but they aren't sure if he was shooting at anyone specifically.
