Christiansburg Pawn Shop Owners Charged After Raid


Montgomery Co., VA - The owners of a Montgomery County pawn shop are facing dozens of charges Tuesday, following an investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

On April 17th, investigators raided Bargain Pawn on Radford Road in Christiansburg and seized multiple items, including tools and firearms. According to authorities, one of the firearms seized was confirmed stolen from Fairfax in 1974.

49-year-old David Strathy and 43-year-old Youssef Melki are facing 100 charges for improperly recording and reporting pawn items.
