Mother's Day Cards to Help Stop Sex Trafficking

Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg couple has created a card business for a good cause. Tim and Sarah Gosnell are selling Mother's Day cards to raise money for women and children who are victims of human trafficking and prostitution in third world countries.

Their project is called "Paper Hope," and the cards cost $20. Last year they raised more than $6,000. This year they hope to raise even more, all of which will go to Christian organizations fighting human trafficking.

"This is a really simple way to take something ordinary like a Mother's Day card and turn it into something that's even bigger," said Tim Gosnell.

The cards will be available beginning this Saturday at Bloop Frozen Yogurt on Wards Road and the Drowsy Poet in Candler Station. You can pick them up through Mother's Day.
