A well-known guitarist and singer is coming to Roanoke, and tickets are now on sale! Joe Bonamassa will be at the Roanoke Civic Center in November 8. The rock and blues singer is known for his skills on the guitar. Ticket prices range from $70 to $100, and you can buy them online.
A popular local band will be on stage for Ellington Fridays on April 26! Jenny Reynolds and Cherry Hill will be on in Lynchburg at 6:30 p.m. The acoustic group plays a variety of music spanning from classic rock and blues to current hits. Tickets are $10, and doors open at 6 p.m.
Also Friday night, the band Pop Evil is performing at Phase 2. The rock band from Michigan just released its latest track called "Trenches." The concert will feature songs from their newest album coming out in May. The show is $15.
And Saturday, April 27, come out to Smith Mountain Lake for annual "Rockin' Brews & BBQs." The Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event in downtown Moneta. There will be live music and of course a variety of barbecue from noon to 5 p.m.
It should be a great day for the 7th annual Phin on the James Saturday at Big Lick Tropical Grill in Lynchburg. The band CalypsoNuts will be performing. A $30 donation includes $1 drink specials & unlimited cheeseburgers, fries and fixin's from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., great raffle prizes and phun! It's hosted by the Heart of Virginia Parrot Head Club.
Also Saturday, the Humane Society for Campbell County is hosting a yard sale fundraiser from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. It's at the Skinner Construction parking lot at 12261 Wards Road. All of the proceeds will benefit the humance society.
