It was a heroes' welcome for a group of local military members returning home Friday night.
11 of them arrived to a cheering crowd at Tulsa International Airport.
They've spent the last seven months installing communication technology in Afghanistan and other areas in southwest Asia.
Staff sergeant Tyler Bush was thrilled to see his wife and 3-year-old daughter, who greeted him while holding a sign that read, "My hero is my daddy."
"It feels awesome! I'm glad to be home with my little girl," says Bush. "It was a long 7 months."
Bush told us he couldn't wait to get home to take a shower, watch some TV, and hang out with his girls.
