Posted: Updated:

A pair of errors by the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in the fourth inning allowed two runs to score as the Tulsa Drillers claimed a 6-1 win in the opening game of a four-game series on Friday.

With the score tied at one, Kyle Parker led off the fourth inning for Tulsa and reached on an error by Naturals first baseman Matt Fields. Henry Wrigley followed with a single, putting runners at first and second with no outs. Kiel Roling's fly ball was mishandled by Roman Hernandez in right field, loading the bases for Tulsa. A sacrifice fly by Jayson Langfels scored Parker, while Wrigley crossed home plate on a force play at second base, giving the Drillers a 3-1 lead.

The Naturals scored first for the fifth game in a row, getting on the board in the third inning thanks to Yem Prades' second home run of the season. Prades had two of the Naturals' three hits and also homered in Thursday night's win over the Springfield Cardinals. Tulsa tied the game in the bottom half of the inning with a two-out single by Langfels that scored Roling.

Tulsa scored a run in the fifth, sixth and eighth innings. A one-out single by Parker brought home Delta Cleary Jr. with one out in the fifth, Langfels added a home run to lead off the sixth, and a double by Kent Matthes scored Clearly in the eighth.

Tyler Matzek earns his first Double-A win, giving up one run on three hits with one walk and six strikeouts. Noel Arguelles is charged with the loss for the Naturals. He allowed five runs, three earned, on seven hits with three walks and three strikeouts in six innings.

The start of the game was delayed by 35 minutes due to rain

The Naturals will send Jason Adam (0-2, 12.85 ERA) to the mound tomorrow night. Adam will face Dan Houston (0-2, 4.26 ERA).
