Crews are still clearing the scene of a rollover accident involving a semi-truck Wednesday morning in midtown Tulsa.
It happened around 10:30 Wednesday when authorities were notified that a semi had rolled over on its side near I-244 and Utica. Contents from the truck spilled onto the road and surrounding area.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol's George Brown told KTUL that approximately 36,000 pounds of cinder block spilled over onto the highway. This happened after the truck driver tried to swerve away from a ladder on the road and overturned.
Brown said there were no injuries were reported at the scene of the accident. He also added that crews have yet to open the road back up to traffic.
No information was provided about the truck's company.
