Craig Aikin lined a two-out RBI single to left field in the top of the 11th inning, lifting Oklahoma into the Big 12 championship game with a 7-6 win Saturday against regular season champion Kansas State.
The Wildcats (41-17) scored four times in the ninth and Big 12 player of the year Ross Kivett answered Matt Oberste's RBI single in the 10th with one of his own. But after K-State loaded the bases with one out in the 11th, Kyle Hayes came in to strike out Mitch Meyer and Alex Bee to earn his first save.
Meyer's two-out, two-run single off closer Jacob Evans tied it in the ninth. Ralph Garza Jr. (5-1) pitched the 10th and left with the bases loaded in the 11th.
Garrett Carey had a three-run double and Anthony Hermelyn had two RBIs for the fourth-seeded Sooners (39-19).
Jake Matthys (8-1) took the loss after four innings of relief.
The Big 12 championship game will get underway at 1 PM on Sunday.
