Campbell Co., VA - Officials with the Lyn-Dan Heights Volunteer Fire Department in Campbell County say Thursday's rain was to blame for a basement wall of a house to collapse.
Fire crews got the call around 5:30 p.m. about the collapse. The two people who live in the house got out safely.
Investigators say the pressure of the water and ground forced the wall to come down.
Fire officials say the house is not liveable. Damage estimates are at about $8,000.
