Schools in Moore that were destroyed by the deadly May 20 tornadoes received a big boost by a group storm chasers.
Storm Assist donated $15,000 to the Moore Public Schools Foundation. The group is made up of chasers worldwide. Some of the members were following the tornadoes when they hit three weeks ago.
The twisters severely damaged nearly two dozen schools in the city. Storm Assist says $400 of the funds came from a six-year-old future meteorologist who raised money on his own to help out.
