It didn't take long for former Oklahoma offensive lineman Lane Johnson to move up the depth chart in Philadelphia. After just a couple of OTA's the fourth overall pick has been getting reps with the starters.
Of course the Eagles drafted him so high in hopes he would win the job and be there for many years to come. Lane has only played offensive tackle for two seasons and he knows he's going to have to work a little harder to be successful with the Eagles.
"It's a little more demanding." Lane said, "From where I've been at Oklahoma I got away with my athletic ability, but now these just a lot more technique involved."
Johnson has a great story. He was a high school quarterback. He then switched to a tight end at Oklahoma to defensive tackle to offensive tackle. He's pretty much played the gamut.
