Progress is being made on a major construction project in the heart of Tulsa.
Crews are now about a third of the way through the widening project at I-44 and Lewis.
They are currently building a new bridge and creating new highway lanes.
New concrete will be laid down over the next couple of weeks.
It should be all done by next spring.
And more construction cones to watch out for in T-Town -- beginning 7 p.m. Friday, crews will close Highway 169 at the Broken Arrow Expressway
Workers are trying to get a little more life out of the bridge there.
Drivers will have to use I-44 and the BA expressway to detour around the project.
