White Sulphur Springs, WV - Jonas Blixt (Bah-licks) shot a 3-under 67 Sunday to win the rain-delayed Greenbrier Classic by two strokes.
The Swede birdied 16 to take the lead and emerged from a five-player chase over the final five holes to pick up the $1.1 million dollar winner's check. He also earns a spot in the upcoming British Open and next year's Masters with Sunday's victory.
Blixt rallied from four shots down at the start of the final round which was halted three hours due to thunderstorms, the last group didn't tee off until after 5 in the evening. Third-round leader and former Hokie golfer Johnson Wagner slipped to a 3-over 73, finishing in a four-way tie for second with Steven Bowditch, Matt Jones and Jimmy Walker.
