Update:

Hoover police say the suspect wanted in connection with Thursday's bank robbery has been arrested. They say it was tips called in to Crime Stoppers that led to the arrest. Police have charged Eric Thomas with the bank robbery.

Hoover police need your help to find a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery Thursday morning.

Police say a man walked into the Regions Bank at 102 Inverness Plaza around 9:21 a.m. and demanded money. The suspect was given an unknown amount of cash before he fled the scene on foot on Highway 280 West. 

It is unknown if the suspect had a weapon during the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hoover Police Department at 205-739-6795 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-777.
